Leasing / Abstracting Department
- Argos Exploration, LLC has the best leasing & abstracting crews in the business. Our landmen and purchasing agents are constantly in the field. Once the Department of Geology identifies a prospect area, our teams of landmen and abstractors go to work. As our abstraction teams conduct full in-house abstracting from take-offs to full searches, the data is passed to our professional landmen who are our ambassadors in the field. They work directly with the land owner to educate them on the entire process of drilling, extraction and production. Our landmen are knowledgeable on the local and state environmental programs in each of our prospect areas and have successfully worked with the governing boards of various conservation programs to bridge the gap between conservation and energy production.
